Mupirocin also known as Pseudomonic acid A, Mupirocin is a potent antibiotic against both Gram(+) bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Klebsiella pneumo niae) and some Gram(-) bacteria (Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae)
